Our Terms and Conditions will apply to all transactions on this site and are intended to follow the guidelines set out in the DTI’s Distance Selling regulations (2000). They do not affect your statutory rights.
Our terms and conditions may change at any time. Changes will take effect on the date they are published on the site (see the date at the top of this page). Before placing an order you will be asked to read and accept these terms and conditions.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us or reproduced with the permission of the relevant artists. Unauthorised reproduction contravenes the artist’s copyright and could result in legal action being taken against you. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, images and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Put Up or Shut Up only accept PayPal on our website. You do not need a Paypal account to use this service, as Paypal also accepts all major credit and debit cards. Promotions and special offers will be available time to time on our web site and in our store, you will also be notified via email if you have signed up for our newsletter. All prices and charges are shown in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges (for details see ‘Delivery’ below). The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order plus the applicable delivery charge. All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. We make every effort to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However errors can occur, if we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it. Payment is deducted when an order is submitted.
By creating an account with our shop, you are able to move through the checkout process faster, store multiple shipping addresses, view and track your orders in your account and more.
Delivery costs are calculated on a per item basis. All works sent are insured. We can also arrange collection. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail signed for post or by an independent courier. We aim to dispatch orders placed within 5 working days of receiving the order. Please note that items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day. If you are not normally at home during the day please supply an alternative address such as your work address, or instructions on where your parcel can be safely left, for example with a neighbour, as all deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. A card will be left to re-arrange delivery if no one is at home to receive your order. If you have not received your delivery within 5 working days from dispatch, please contact us so that we can track your order. Deliveries for orders outside the UK may incur additional import duties and custom charges. These are levied at the port of ingress and are the responsibility of the purchaser. We do not ship to P.O Box or BFPO addresses. Although we use all reasonable means to ensure that your order is delivered within a specified time, we cannot accept any responsibility for late deliveries due to circumstances outside of our control. We will do our best to inform you of any unexpected delay. Please allow extra days for deliveries to remote postcodes.
Updating Account Information
You can update your online account profile information anytime, just log into ‘My Account’ page. You can update your account name, email address, password, billing and shipping addresses.
Returns policy/Faulty Goods
If there is a fault with your product we will normally offer a prompt exchange or refund (at our discretion). When returning products you are advised to use an insured parcel service which requires a signature on delivery as we will not be held responsible for products lost or damaged in transit. Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse you the delivery costs. THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Put Up or Shut Up welcome submissions of work from artists, but reserves the absolute right not to choose material for publication or promotion without having to give reason.
Ensure you have cookies enabled. This is the most common cause of browser problems.

We take a responsible approach to data protection and never pass on your details to third parties, from time to time we may use your details to inform you of exhibitions etc., if you do not wish to receive any communications please indicate this when placing your order. You can unsubscribe from this at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line
We reserve the right to cancel the Contract between us if: We or our suppliers have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered or such goods have been discontinued; One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be liable to pay any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
